I spent a week in the Bahamas with my Tobin island Artists group and worked on this painting of two gulls sitting on a rock in Lake Rosseau, Muskoka Canada. I was on the lake with a friend and we spotted this scene on a sunny afternoon, striking contrast with the direct sun hitting the rock in the shadow of an island. I took many photos of these two gulls until they flew away.
This painting is acrylic on masonite board 24″ x 36″. I have since added a very faint background indicating a shoreline. Soon to be posted in my gallery section.
